Loki Gear is the original "All-In-One Outdoor Clothing Company."  We specialize in patented convertible hand and face warmth, backpack-able pockets and all-in-one convertible accessories.  There are a growing number of imitators. None take it to the extent we live by.  Everything Loki makes is ready to face changing weather and like the weather, it keeps changing. 

Loki was founded by the mountain climbing Anderson brothers in Colorado. Dirk and Seth wanted gear that would change with the weather for mountains and everyday adventure. They named Loki for the Nordic shape-changing god of mischief and trickery.

Loki gear changes to be warmer with built-in mitts and neck warmer, or cools down with vents and some can turn into backpacks. All this functionality while maintaining a "low-key" in style and friendly prices.

Want to know more about us?  We are rather "low-key" but here is brief history of LOKI;

Loki was envisioned on the the slopes of Mount Sneffels in September of 1990.  It was bitter cold in the morning, warmed up on the ascent, then a fierce blizzard descended on the summit.  On the hike back down the brothers dreamed up gear that would change with the weather.  That evening they sewed several neck gaiter hats with a mind to create outdoor clothing and gear that is changes like LOKI, and is "low-key" in style.

From 1990 to 1997 LOKI was a hobby business selling hats and a few jackets and other inventions to friends until the LOKI Hat design was created.  LOKI incorporated 1997 with Jess Rigg and Seth Anderson traveling Colorado and Utah selling to many outdoor and snow sport stores.  In 2002 Richard Houghton came on board to help launch new the new built-in full coverage clothing designs.  

Through the years Dirk and Seth continued to climb, ski, snowboard and adventure on high peaks while pushing the evolution of LOKI gear.  In 2005 they summited Denali proving that built-in Pro-Cuffs are safer and work in extreme cold and altitude.  2013 LOKI became Dirk and Seth Anderson's continuing dream with more options of sizes and streamlined designs in the works.  Thank you for being part of our journey.
